2019 Canadian Tulip Festival will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday May 10 and ends on Monday May 20
A hop-on-hop-off shuttle will run between the 3 main Tulip Festival sites – Commissioners Park, Lansdowne Park, and the ByWard market – on weekends. The shuttle will run a regular 30 minute schedule for the duration of the festival.
COMMISSIONERS PARK – “THE TULIP GARDEN EXPERIENCE”
Spend some time in the tulips and enjoy live musical entertainment; watch artists at work among the tulip beds at Commissioners Park, Dow’s Lake; take in a 1-KM explosion of over 250,000 show-stopping mass-planted tulip beds including the Queen Juliana Gift Bed and the World Friendship Tulips, the official tulip of the 2018 Festival. Interpretive signage and guided tours offer an opportunity to learn about tulips and the Capital’s flagship tulip festival
Tulip Legacy Walking Tour of Commissioners Park (30 min)
Our guide welcomes your group to tour the Royal Gift Tulip Bed, the Tulip Legacy Plaza and provides an overview of our Canadian tulip heritage, as well as, our Tulip Legacy Story. Explore the tulip gardens and enjoy the vibrant surroundings. Includes a 2018 Canadian Tulip Festival souvenir and 20% off voucher for the boutique.
*Public Parking – A special parking lot at Queen Juliana Park (off of Queen Elizabeth South of Preston Street) is available for a flat rate of $15.

Local vendors will be featured to provide a unique dining experience each day from 12pm to 2pm. On the Tulip Café stage there will be continuous live musical entertainment as well as floral and craft demonstrations.
