The Land O’ Lakes Garden Club is proud to be celebrating its 15th year as a member of the Ontario Horticultural Association. This is a huge achievement for a community as small as ours and shows the dedication and commitment of our members to support the Club and the programs that we have instituted over the years.

We started very small with 12 people attending the first meeting, but this quickly grew and we now have a very active membership of over 60 residents, including some summer visitors.

We meet from April to November which accommodates cottagers and year-round residents who enjoy gardening and learning a wide variety of information from our wonderful guest speakers. Through the magic of the internet, we will continue our monthly meetings virtually as we work through this pandemic and our first meeting in May went very well. We are hoping to be able to get back to our regular meetings at the Barrie Hall in Cloyne on the second Wednesday of each month. Please check our calendar of events each month to see how we will be conducting our meetings.

From the beginning, our community involvement has been significant and we continue to maintain 2 Community Hall Gardens, the Gardens at the Pine Meadow Nursing Home and the 34 Planter Boxes in the area.
