This year we lost one of our founding members, Martine Buissart. For those of us who knew her, she will be forever in our hearts.
Martine volunteered for every project we engaged in as a Garden Club and she continued to show up to help maintain these projects even as her health was failing.
She became our Webmaster when we asked if somebody could do this and she put her artistic spin on the many photo collages and stories that appeared on our website, telling the story of our journey over the past 14 years.
She was a member of the Canadian Military, an accomplished gardener, photographer and singer. There was nothing she wouldn’t try – she had such a zest for life.
We will miss you Martine, but we are happy you are no longer in pain and you have passed on to meet up with JP and your beloved dogs in Heaven.
