The Land O’ Lakes Garden Club is a member of the Ontario Horticultural Association and started its 17th year on September 1st, 2023. We have 90+ members and for a community as small as ours, this shows the dedication and commitment of our members to support the Club and the programs we have instituted over the years.
We meet from April through November at 7:00 PM at the Barrie Community Hall in Cloyne. This timeframe allows us to accommodate cottagers and year-round residents who enjoy gardening and learning with a wide variety of information from our wonderful guest speakers. Please check our Calendar of Events each month to get information about our meetings.
From the beginning, our community involvement has been significant and we continue to maintain 2 Community Hall Gardens, the Gardens at the Pine Meadow Nursing Home, the 34 Planter Boxes in the area, the Cloyne Pioneer Cemetery and the Indigenous Commemorative Medicine Wheel Garden.
