Our next regular meeting will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
We are having a special event meeting for Spring Seed Sowing
on March 29, 2023 from 11 AM until 2 PM!

In 2021, the Land O’ Lakes Garden Club celebrated our 15th year as a member of District 3 of the Ontario Horticultural Association. This is a huge achievement for a community as small as ours and shows the dedication and commitment of our members to support the Club and the programs that we have instituted over the years.
We started very small with 12 people attending the first meeting, but this quickly grew and we now have a very active membership of over 90, including many summer visitors.
We meet from April to November which accommodates cottagers and year-round residents who enjoy gardening and learning a wide variety of information from our wonderful guest speakers.
We are back to in-person meetings now at the Barrie Hall in Cloyne on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from April to November. Be sure to check this website for speaker information and times of meetings. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of those months at 7:00 pm at the Barrie Township Hall in Cloyne.
From the beginning, our community involvement has been significant and we continue to maintain 2 Community Hall Gardens, the Gardens at the Pine Meadow Nursing Home, the Cloyne Pioneer Cemetery and the 34 Planter Boxes in the area. We have also set up a new Medicine Wheel Garden at Benny’s Park – take a look at the page we have set up for this for more information.
We have been able to resume our monthly Book Club and our Wine Tasting meetings. Our Walking Group meets when weather and bugs permit.
